Stock Risk Briefing ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Stock Risk Briefing web application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

- Account information: email address when you sign in via magic link.
- Usage data: briefing requests, watchlist tickers, tier status, and fair-use counters needed to run the service.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. We receive customer and subscription identifiers from Stripe, not full card numbers.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) collected by our hosting provider.
How we use information
- Authenticate you and maintain your session.
- Generate and store risk briefings you request.
- Enforce Free and Pro plan limits.
- Process subscriptions and send optional weekly digest emails.
- Improve reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
AI-generated content
Briefings are produced using third-party AI services from public-source context. Your ticker queries and company names may be sent to those providers solely to generate content for you. We do not sell your data to AI vendors for model training.
Third-party services
We share data only as needed to operate the product:
- Stripe — subscription billing and customer portal.
- Resend — transactional and digest email delivery.
- Supabase (Postgres) — account and briefing storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Anthropic — narrative generation for briefings.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We choose vendors with industry-standard security practices.
Cookies and sessions
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Briefings you generate remain available in the product according to your plan. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data. Contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
International users
We operate from the United States. If you access the service from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
